Robin M. Harris has 25 years of administrative operations experience in both the national and international financial sectors. Mrs. Harris is a Portfolio Analyst for Meridian Management Group, Inc. (MMG) and has been a member of the team since 2001. As portfolio analyst, Mrs. Harris’ primary responsibilities include updating loan history reports, processing check disbursement requests, analyzing and spreading client financial statements, credit analysis, underwriting, and accounts payable. Mrs. Harris was also the Office Manager from 2001 through 2015, her responsibilities included overseeing the daily operations and organizing and coordinating work flow; monitoring key company strategic action items, portfolio deadlines and benchmarks, internal operations, new and existing special projects, and marketing events; identifying and resolving conflicts in schedules, deadlines, and documentation; and supervising the support staff.
Before joining Meridian Management Group, Inc., Mrs. Harris worked as a Senior Team Assistant and then an Office Administrator of the Infrastructure Operations Unit, Africa Region, at the World Bank (1991 – 2001). As Office Administrator, Mrs. Harris’ responsibilities included supervising, mentoring, coaching, and focusing on skills and career development of the administrative staff. She led team building exercises across departments, was part of a change management team for the organization and received the President’s Award for Best Practice Leadership. As Senior Team Assistant, she provided support to the teams that worked on the department’s largest projects (Lesotho Highlands Water Project, $2.5 billion; 25-member team; and Mozambique Roads and Coastal Shipping, $850 million, 15-member team). These teams acted in partnership with heads of state, government ministries, federal and local legislators, international consultants and attorneys to ensure that the projects were implemented on time and in compliance with policies and procedures.
In May of 2012, Mrs. Harris graduated Magna Cum Laude from Morgan State University, receiving a bachelor’s degree in Finance, and earned her Economic Development Finance Professional Certification from the National Development Council in 2013.
